White checkermallow; Sidalcea candida

Found this on the Darling Creek Trail (southeast of Ute Pass). The first photo is an iPhone photo from August 2019. I went back on Aug. 21, 2021, and missed it on ascent as there was a lot of deadfall on the trail and I was off-trail at the location. But on descent I stuck to the trail and found it. Just one plant. The second photo is with my camera. Now I have found them in many places, some close to my house, and a very large bunch on Miners Creek Road in Frisco.
