Glacier lily; Erythronium grandiflorum

A huge field of them emerges from the snow each year just on the east side of Red Buffalo Pass. Other good spots are below Deluge Lake, and slightly north on the trail that leaves Flat Pass (main pass to the north of Uneva) to the east side.

In the acres of lilies that show up just below the east side of Red Buffalo Pass as the snow retreats. These are coming up right through the snow.
