Clustered lady slippers; Cypripedium fasciculatum

These are quite rare in Summit County. They show up near the main trail (Gore Trail) just above South Willow Falls.

In late June, 2014, I found a nice bunch not too far from our house, near fields of regular fairy slippers: Location: On the trail connecting 31B to the Ditch (now called the Ormes Trail). Exactly 1/10 of a mile north of the junction of this trail with 31B. On right when hiking towards ditch. About 3 feet from trail.

June 29, 2021, on the Gore Range Trail towards Red Buffalo Pass from the east, at around 11,000 feet.
