In 2004 we skied from Snow Ocean (center rear) to Battle Abbey, and descended the steep slope to looker’s right of the icefall. In 2013 we spent a week at a camp at Oasis Lake (bottom center, below the cliff right of the icefall. The name “Wrong” is due to Sam Silverstein, who in 1959 dropped a cache from an airplane for a summer climbing trip on the wrong glacier.Icefall Peak, near Icefall Lodge, which I have visited several times.
