Mt. Buckskin, South Face

On June 16, 2007, Aaron Parmet, Andy Dimmen, and I skied the south face from just a few feet below the summit. This is about 5˚ steeper than the North Face and the exit at the bottom was a little tricky. Views were excellent: saw one party skiing down the south face of Democrat, which looked in perfect shape.

The ski line: we started just (looker’s) left of the summit, crossed to the right, and exited by the pair of narrow gulleys at center.
