Woolly actinella, or Stemless goldflower, or Stemless four-nerve daisy; Hymenoxys acaulis
We saw this high (12500 feet) on Hoosier Ridge on July 6, 2008. I had never seen it before, but found it as Woolly actinella. It goes by other names, such as Stemless goldenflower. I now learn that it is occasionally seen in the dry areas near Hoosier and Mosquito Passes.
