I was recovering from a broken leg in April, so the summer did not have many long hikes.
Mountain Boy Basin (just east of Independence Pass), with Igloo Peak left of center. Elke, Katie, and I climbed Mountain Boy Peak by a ridge out of frame to the left. Then we returned by a difficult route on the east face of Igloo that is facing the camera.The east ridge of Mountain Boy yielded a simple class 3 route to the top.The view down into Graham Gulch as we climbed Mountain Boy.Boreas Mountain, near Boreas Pass in Breckenridge.
